We’re used to seeing Margot Robbie as the blonde bombshell in her movies Wolf Of Wall Street and Focus.
But the 24-year-old former Neighbours star looks very different in new images from the upcoming post-apocalyptic sci-fi film Z for Zachariah.
As part of her make-under for her role as Ann Burden, a teenage survivor of a nuclear war left to fend for herself, the Australian actress sports darker locks and baggy clothes.

Margot’s character is also the sole remaining female who becomes torn between two men in a deadly love triangle.
The new stills from the movie also feature the Australian actress’s co-stars Chris Pine andĀ Chiwetel Ejiofor.
One of the shots shows the trio sitting down to a candle-lit dinner, with a make-up free Margot the centre of attention in a baggy yet low-cut dress with her hair swept back off her face.
Both Chiwetel and Chris’s characters sport beards and unkempt hair as they wear slightly baggy shirts.

In another of the new images, the trio are again sitting down to a meal but the boys are both looking off into the distance, while Margot’s character looks slightly distress and somewhat sinister.
Sitting outside, almost appearing to be in a trance, the brunette beauty is wearing an over-sized coat on top of her blue sun dress.
Things become heated for the trio after Chris Pine’s character Caleb joins Ann and Chiwetel’s character, Loomis.

In the trailer, after Ann bumps into Caleb while out alone, she invites him back to live with the duo, as she did when she bumped into Loomis before that.
However, Loomis isn’t as trusting of Caleb as Ann is telling her he could be anyone for all they know.
But Caleb and Ann’s chemistry soon becomes obvious to Loomis, who tells the beauty: ‘Iāve seen the way that you look at each other, if you need to figure it out, figure it out.’

In the new stills from the film, the romance and heart ache are evident, as shots are revealed from Caleb and Ann’s romance.
There’s also a distraught looking Loomis, contemplating life, while sitting alone in the house with Ann peering in the window from outside.
The heated chemistry between Ann and Caleb becomes too much and the pair are shown stripping down in a raunchy sex scene in the trailer.
However their dramatic romance seems to come to a dramatic end with the trailer ending on a gunshot and a distressed looking Margot.
The sci-fi flick was filmed in New Zealand’s Banks Peninsula and is due out this week in the US.
Currently without a release date in Australia, Z for Zachariah will hit cinemas in the United States on August 28.
