It’s an awards season ceremony that doesn’t attract quite as much attention as others.
But Margot Robbie brought an extra dose of glitz and glamour as she attended the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ Scientific And Technical Awards Ceremony in Beverly Hills on Sunday.
The Wolf Of Wall Street star showed off her blonde bombshell looks as she walked the red carpet in a floor-length black gown with a floral strip across the bust.

She flew to huge fame in the Wolf of Wall Street after only being known for her role in Neighbours and Margot Robbie has been majorly on our radar ever since.
She’s been impressing us with her red carpet choices donning designers from Marc Jacobs to Stella McCartney and Elie Saab. While she’s still not up there in our top ten best-dressed, we think Margot Robbie is getting better and better each time we see her – we are just keen to see her stepping out of her safe sartorial zone now and mixing things up a bit.
That’s not to say we didn’t love her dress here. This Prada piece from the spring/summer 2015 collection is a step in the right direction with its sheer lace. The strip of paisley gave the designer away and we’ve seen her in this pattern just recently on the front of next month’s Australian Vogue – she must really be loving Prada’s spring collection.
Of course you cannot buy her dress, but see the carousel for some gothic lace options that are sure to set hearts racing.
She only rose to fame just over a year ago for her role in Wall Street, however self-aware Margot Robbie tells the March issue of Vogue Australia that she fears her career may have peaked too soon.
Looking every inch the movie star film siren in the retro styled shoot for the high fashion glossy magazine, the Australian actress talks candidly about her thoughts on how she is perceived.
‘Even I admit I may have peaked too soon,’ the 24-year-old tells the magazine, which is out on February 16.
‘Wolf was so insane and doing it was such a crazy experience.
‘But once I’d done it, or while I was doing it even, I didn’t see how I could possibly move things forward from that because that was just so incredible.’
The photoshoot sees Margot wearing a high necked, long sleeved floral top also with a gypsy style white shirt.
The beauty, who was recently reportedly spotted canoodling with her Tarzan co-star Alexander Skarsgard at the Sundance Film Festival, also stars on the cover of Marie Claire March issue.
Inside the former Neighbours star poses for a number of bedroom snaps as she reclines in lingerie and a comfy sweater.

‘I know that my look is more “toothpaste model” as opposed to artsy, which sucks because I can play those roles.’
Margot, who is thought to be in a relationship with Tom Ackerley also goes on to claim: ‘I am officially off the market…I made a conscious decision not to date actors, but not because I hate actors.
‘That’s a nasty generalization to make, and that’s not the case…People take such an interest in your love life when you have a profile that it puts a lot of stress on a relationship.’

‘So two people with profiles,’ she continued, ‘I figure it’s just double the amount of scrutiny, and I’d like to avoid that at all costs.’
But People magazine recently reported that Robbie and her Tarzan co-star Skarsgard were spotted enjoying each other’s company during an evening of bar hoping during the Sundance Film Festival in Utah late last month.
After starting their night at the Sabra Hummus Kickoff Party, the magazine’s source says Alexander, 38, and Margot then hit up the 10AK pop-up bar where they ‘arrived and sat together’.
The source also divulged that, ‘the couches there are not big at all.’
But it was an eyewitness that saw their night out turn into much more.
